Panasonic brings new life to undertakers
17th January 2025UK: Panasonic low temperature air conditioning is creating a wide range of conditions for staff and customers at a family-run undertakers in Kent.
Uden’s undertakers, which has seven sites across London and Kent, recently sought to transform its new site in West Wickham. This included the installation of a Panasonic PACi NX Elite multi-split units, capable of cooling down to 8ºC.
The family owners sought an HVAC system to deliver efficient heating and cooling across diverse areas, including the reception, back office, arrangement rooms, hallways, chapel of rest, and the preparation and visitors viewing spaces. Maintaining an ambient temperature of 8-10ºC was crucial for specific areas.
Orpington-based contractor FLR Spectron specified five PACi NX Elite multi split units with nanoeX technology as the ideal solution for this project. The units are said to offer an efficient solution for low-temperature applications for facilities such as mortuaries, wine cellars, food processing facilities and supermarkets.
A standout feature of the PACi NX series is its ability to operate in special conditions, maintaining room temperatures down as low as 8ºC – a key requirement for the Uden’s project.
