10% increase on non-refillable cylinder prices
9th August 2016USA: Cylinder manufacturer Worthington Industries has announced a 10% increase on the price of all its non-refillable refrigerant cylinders.
Effective with shipments starting on September 1, the increase is said to reflect recent steel price increases.
“Steel material prices have increased significantly over the past several months,” said Dusty McClintock, vice president and general manager of the Worthington Industries pressure cylinders business. “Every effort has been made to minimise the impact of rising raw material costs. However, recent raw material pricing has significantly escalated our production costs and we must adjust pricing accordingly.”
