Multi-scroll chiller on R454B

ITALY: Cosmotec has adopted lower GWP refrigerant R454B in its new WPA multi-scroll free cooling chillers.

The new range, in capacities from 206kW to 670kW, is designed to meet the process cooling market’s demands for increased operating temperatures, reduced greenhouse gas emissions and improved energy efficiency.

According to Cosmotec, the combination of scroll technology with R454B refrigerant allows WPA units to achieve higher efficiency levels than the R410A version.
